Revenue Opportunity

The revenue opportunity will be determined by the type of program launched. There are a number of revenue streams that can be used to enhance the revenue stream of the program as follows:
  • Sale of the card and companion cards
  • Monthly fees
  • ATM usage
  • Interchange (the fees paid by the merchant for accepting MasterCard)
  • Breakage (the unspent funds at time of expiry, typically for gift cards)
  • Card to Card transfer fees
  • SMS access fees
  • Market Data information for loyalty and cross sell etc
